Its the end of May, and that means one thing:promseason has officially begun.
Today, shes better known asEmRata, but will always be Emily to me.
Even though my prom was in June, I went in January to pick out and claim my dress.

I had a bit of drama with my dress.
I instantly vetoed that.

In 2014, my style inspiration was none other thanGossip Girls Serena van der Woodsen.
Looking back, this night marked a new chapter of my love affair with fashion.
I went to prom twice (flex!

)first, in 11th grade, with my then-boyfriend who was a senior.
I still have that dress and look forward to wearing it again.
Prom was abigdeal at my high school.

But I do remember the dress hunt being the most important part, at least for me.
Honestly, getting ready was (and has always been!)
