But for Nordstroms associate fashion directorLinda Cui Zhang, it wasnt part of the plan.
She says she gravitates towards flats, but has recently been exploring a lowkitten heel, too.

She adds, Im in this obviously fortunate position where my office wear is my life wear.
As for how she shops?
Im very much a gut shopper, she says.

I believe in love at first sight when you see an item.

Touch of Sport
This is an any-day-of-the-week kind of outfit.
Im wearing Flabelus, which is a brand were actually bringing on later this year.

I love a little comfy flat.
The pearl necklace is from Sophie Buhai.
It was a finishing touch that feels very structured, but in an organic shape.

I just feel like it topped off the outfit.
I just love a goodtrompe l’oeilits like you’re getting away with something and looking quite polished.
Going back to what we talked about earlier, I love things that allow for a lot of movement.

I just love the little patches.
Theyre so kitschy and fun.
And then met with the wallpaper floral [jacket from Prada], which is quite vintage feeling.

I reconnected the craft element with the crochet skirt.
I love a loafer sock combo, it has a little frillit adds a funny element to it.
I wear them sneakers as well.

Hosiery can bring so much to your outfit, whether it be a third or a fourth color.
I like the idea of a folksy-meets-more-futuristic style.
The skirt is our Sacai x Carhartt collaboration.

The fabric is quite weighty, like that workwear canvas.
Im very into the object-as-a necklace lately, and the Annika Inez piece just pulls the whole look together.
And then a white sock, obviously!
