A lot of people in LA are like, Oh, Im making a movie.
Do you want to work on it?
And youre kind of like, Sure.
But then Sean was like, Heres the script, were going to shoot it.
Early on, I reached out to Future Islands, who were super involved in skate culture.
I felt like it was almost a documentary snapshot into this specific experience.
What do you think is so compelling about Warped Tour-core onscreen?
I think its also about people that are around this age range being nostalgic.
Do you have a favorite needledrop in the film?
I was, you know, a wannabe skater groupie.
They were definitely out there, but now there are just so many people doing so well.
They dont want their kids to struggle.
