I was studying philosophy, and thought for sure Id be a curator or an academic.

I said, sure, and he handed me his backstage badge.
I never gave this handsome stranger my number, but I did try my hand at using the badge.
I didnt have a seating assignment, of course, so they sent me to the standby line.
From the standby line I eventually made it to the back row of a designer I knew nothing about.
I think it may have been Anna Sui.
I spent the rest of the week using this badge to go from fashion show to fashion show.
The most memorable one for me wasStephen Sprouses NASA collection.
Funnily enough, a couple of years later I would date a guy who walked that show.
