Or a serotonin diet, as Im calling it (a diet made up chiefly of serotonin-boosting foods).

This is where I went off the wagonor so I thought.

As it turns out, that last part wasntsobad.

Oysters not only contain tryptophan but also bucketloads of zinc, which has been shown tosignificantly lower depressionsymptoms.

All that alcohol, though?

While champagnemay increase serotonin levelsinitially, once the body metabolizes the alcohol, those levels quickly decrease.

Which is probably why I felt so anxious the next day.
