For Taghi, the Houston-raised, NYC-based designer who worked with Oscar de la Renta at just 13 years old, The Museum at FIT was a vital resource.

A fan of the institution, though a graduate of Central Saint Martins himself, Taghi organized a family-style meal including grilled eggplant, the restaurants shaking beef, and more, ending on the note of a coconut creme brulee.

Throughout the evening, guests jumped out of their seats to move around, catching up with old friends, making new ones, and savoring the moments of a cozy dinner just ahead of the jam-packed fashion week to come.
