Id love to know more about your choice to use multiple points of view inTrauma Plot.
How did you care for yourself in the process of writing this book?
In terms of preparing for that throughout the writing process, I dont have a super-easy answer.
I got into therapy, and that was incredibly important.
The writing and the therapy sort of spoke to one another in a lot of ways.
Those are sort of the things I used to navigate the difficulty.
I guess the concept of justice after sexual assault doesnt feel very salient for me.
I dont know what justice looks like after youve experienced that sort of annihilative violence.
What is justice in relation to that loss?
Its hard for me to imagine.
Rehabilitative justice is an interesting concept, but I dont really know what it looks like in practice.
I feel lighter and more open.
