Lorenzo:and we have known each other since around age six or seven.
Now we range in age from 26 to 29.
And how long have you been fans of Jannik?
But we started to follow him in this carrot costume just from 2023.
But now youve just completed your own circuit of Slams, havent you?
Alessandro:We have.
Weve now been to all four.
Do you work in tennis?
How are you able to travel as much as you do?
Alessandro:No, no we dont have jobs in tennis!
Lorenzo:Four of us are independent workers, though, which makes it a little easier.
Not meI have an office job.
Are you making money doing this now?
Do you get deals?
Lavazza, the coffee company, hosted us at the French Open.
Alessandro:It was one in our group named Francesco.
Lorenzo:And you’re able to understand why: Its something ridiculous.
If he had played the next day, maybe the Carota Boys would never be.
Are these carrots… Halloween costumes?
Do you buy them, or does someone make them for you?
Alessandro:Now it has our logo and everything.
Youve met Jannik, yes?
Do you keep in touch?
Alessandro:Weve had a few meetings with him.
The first was in New Yorkwe took a photo with him there.
But now were in touch regularly, because we have a WhatsApp group all together.
And the whole thing has really caught onthe cameras love you.
With all this recognition, what has been the craziest moment with fans?
Alessandro:Its ridiculousall because one day we decided to put on carrot costumes.
