This is what happens when you bring Los Angeles to Paris, said Julie Kegels, laughing.
She showed outside in the garden of a brutalist apartment building at the very westerly edge of the city.
But the Paris weather was not playing nice.

The rain kept up in a way which is best described as ruthlessly persistent.
And Kegels, despite the inclement weather, had brought the sunshine, metaphorically at least.

Ironically, the whole reason I was at Kegels presentation at all was due to a West Coast connection.
Its easy to share their enthusiasm.
Secondly, and linked to firstly, she centered it on a narrative around women.
