Does having children ruin your career?

Being a female pop star in the early 21st century is a fairly uncommon career.

Theres further context to those quotes thats worthy of consideration, too.

It was a choice.

It was a choice informed by her own childhood and her instinct and her resources.

Thats not it all.

There are certainly other things to add to the list, but thats my starting point for it all.

It made me appreciate my time and work in a way I hadnt done before.

It brought people into my life that I love and am grateful for.
