ThePhotoVogue Festival, the first conscious fashion photography festival that focuses on the common ground between ethics and aesthetics, returns for its eighth edition.

From March 6th to 9th, 2025, BASE Milano will host a series of exhibitions and talks analysing the interrelation between humans and Nature, and the relations of kinship we can create with animals, complemented by satellite events at the city’s finest galleries.

Synopsis

Moderated by Yael Martinez, an acclaimed photographer and Magnum Photos member, this panel explores the artistic interpretation of documentary themes.

Martinez, known for his evocative work addressing fractured communities in Mexico, uses symbolism to navigate themes of absence and resilience, offering a powerful lens through which to examine the intersection of art and documentary photography.

The panel features artists fromThe Tree of Life: A Love Letter to NatureandLatin America Panorama: Juan Brenner, Neel Bhattacharjee, Saurabh Narang and Claudia Revidat.

In the signature segment,The Story Behind the Image, each artist will have six minutes on stage to present their work, with their images projected on a large screen, sharing insights into their creative processes and personal narratives.
