La Primera, 2020.The revolutionary element of tranquility, the rhythmic cycles of water, and the artful cuts resembling blossoms. La Primera emerges from my desire to infuse my still lifes with human-like attributes while contemplating water as a wellspring of femininity. The ice rectangle delineates a pure and fertile expanse.

I grew up surrounded by stories of strong women talking about their connection with water.
It was there that I started freezing flowers.
Bendi, 2020.I came across Bendi in Madrid in 2020. I photographed her within my living room and shared a coffee. These portraits marked the final captures prior to the lockdown. Her allure and identity continued to influence me throughout the en- suing months. The emotions evoked during our photoshoot served as inspiration for initiating my still life ventures.
This initial experiment gave me peace and has allowed me to continue investigating.
We have been working on this project for two years, and it will be released this year.
