These beautiful bias cut dresses were actually inspired by some archival Altuzarra dresses.
We really played with the idea of deconstructing 1930s nightgowns.

The little straps in the back to cinch it are actually bra straps with a lingerie-inspired closure.
I love this because it feels like verydishabilleand has this very nonchalant kind of undressed feeling.
The first delivery we really approached as a kind of foundational wardrobe, Altuzarra shared.

“The back of the trousers have a belt loop that’s actually constructed like a V [made from] little bra adjuster, which became a signature for the collection.”
The Victorias Secret fantasy, after all, is where it all starts for so many.
There is a real emotional connection to the brand, Altuzarra explained.
So its been a dream to be able to work with them.

“We made coordinating bras with the satin shirt, so if you wanted to leave the bra visible the colors are exactly coordinating.”
