Meyer advises that when planning a counter-proposal, its important to think creatively and prioritize your fiance.
Another tip from Meyer is not to feel as if your proposal must match or exceed the first one.

So do not compare or compete.
Just do it from the heart!
However, he also says you dont have to do it all alone.
It can be a lot to plan a counter-proposal.
There is no shame in asking for help!
Finally, ensure the counter proposal staysa surprise.
